Helicopter Glacier Walkabout
On this non-strenuous, 1-hour interpretive walk, your guide will provide
detailed explanations of glacier environments and allow ample time for photo
opportunities. Trekking poles and crampons will provide superb balance and
traction enabling you to travel easily on the gently rolling glacial terrain. The
amount of walking is moderate, over relatively flat to rolling terrain.
Minimum age: 8 years
Duration: Approximately 3 1/4 hours including transportation to and from our heliport, safety briefing and gearing up, helicopter flight and a 1-hour walk on the glacier.
